Bartender / Server

Job Summary

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and provide a first-class member dining experience.

Job Description

Maintains a bar product/supplies inventory system for: Alcoholic beverages including wines, beer, and liquor; Non-alcoholic beverages and mixers; Glassware, Paper and other bar supplies

Notifies FOH Manager/Chef of items that need to be ordered

Inspects the bar prior to opening to ensure that adequate supplies are available.

Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of bar/banquet areas, glassware, and equipment through regular inspections

Assure that all laws applicable to beverage operations are consistently followed

Set-up side station and performs assigned pre-and post-side work

Greet Members on their way in and seat them, provide menus and silverware, discuss specials

Take Member orders and input them into POS, including any modifiers, allergies, or special notes

Serves food/drinks and ensures quality is up to member standard

Works with the FOH Manager and others to ensure efficient service in all club outlets and for special functions

Assists with banquet functions and service when necessary

Keeps current with changing member preferences

Prepares, garnishes, mixes drinks

Collects checks/ credit card payment for all members served

Opens the Bar and Locks up according to procedures

Attends staff meetings as required

Turns in EOD paperwork daily

Mandatory minimum tip out to Expo of 5% of food sales

Other duties as assigned by Management

Beverage Cart Attendant 

Job Summary 
Provide Members / Guests with top-notch beverage service and excellent conversation on the course.  

Job Description 

Stocking Cart each morning with snacks and beverages, Beer and Non-Alcoholic only 

Roaming the course, driving backwards, providing each member the opportunity to get something from the cart 

Being courteous to golfers as they are playing, not driving past when they are on the tee-box or putting 

Responsible for maintaining appropriate stock of snacks and beverages and letting MOD know when we are short on stock 

Advises MOD of any member/guest complaints as they occur 

Cleaning and washing cart daily 

Breaking down cart each evening, beer back to the cooler and non-alcoholic/snacks back to storage  

Assists with banquet functions and service when necessary 

Collects cash/ member information for all items served on the course 

Maintaining an accurate cash bag daily 

Attends required staff meetings 

Turns in signed tip declaration form daily

Golf Cart Attendant

Job Summary
Provide bag, cart and range services to members and guests

Job Description
Bring carts from cart shelter to cart staging area outside Golf Shop

Prepares golf carts for play – scorecards, pencil, tees, divot repair tools in each cart every time

Loads/Unloads Members & Guests clubs onto cart from car or bag storage room
Transports range balls to each end of range and fills appropriate containers

Places bags with golf balls evenly spaced intervals on range

Operates tractor and ball picker on range to retrieve balls

Washes all range balls after every pick of driving range

Removes bags from carts and returns bags to assigned rack in bag storage room

Returns carts to cart shelter; removes towels, pencils, score cards, tees, and all trash from carts and saves reusable items; washes car with pressure cleaner and brush; parks cart in shelter and connects charger cable

Cleans members & guests golf clubs upon completion of round

Job Summary
Dishwasher responsibilities include collecting used dishes, plates and utensils, loading washing machines and stacking washed items appropriately.

Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas 

Load and unload dishwashing machine 

Wash specific items by hand (e.g. wooden cutting boards, large pots and delicate china) 

Store clean dishes, glasses and equipment appropriately 

Set up workstations before meal prep begins 

Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses and utensils, especially during peak hours 

Maintain cleaning supplies stock (e.g. detergents) and place orders when necessary 

Remove garbage regularly 

Sanitize the kitchen area, including the floor

Job Summary

Job Description

Takes food and beverage orders and serves food/beverage at the pool

Responsible for daily cleaning of Pool Snack Shop area and tables on pool deck

Responsible for maintaining appropriate stock of food and beverage and letting MOD know when we are short on stock

Routinely checks pool restrooms for cleanliness

Routinely checks inside and outside of pool grounds for trash/debris

Job Title

Lifeguard

Job Summary

A Lifeguard, or Lifesaver, is responsible for surveying a body of water and conducting rescues to help weak or injured swimmers get to safety. Their duties include speaking with swimmers to enforce swimming rules keeping track of each swimmer in the water and administering first aid to injured swimmers.

Job Description

Ensures the safety of swimmers at all times.

Maintain current certifications.

Pleasantly engages with all members and peers.

Opening and closing the pool each day according to scheduled hours.

Closely monitoring activities related to the pool area, identifying any safety issues throughout shift.

Directing swimmers out of water in dangerous conditions.

Closely monitoring weather reports to make sure guests remain safe.

Maintaining a clean pool environment.

Supervises swimming activities at the aquatics facility and ensures that policies, guidelines, and safety procedures are followed.

Warns swimmers of improper activities or danger and enforces pool regulations and water safety policies.

Administers first aid in the event of injury, rescues swimmers in distress or danger of drowning, and administers CPR and/or artificial respiration, if necessary.

Evaluates conditions for safety and initiates aquatics emergency action plan as required.

Inspects pool facilities, equipment, and water to ensure that they are safe and usable.

Supervises and assists in cleaning the pool and related facilities and equipment, assists with chlorine residual water tests and with records and charts of water tests and records of accidents, and adds chemicals to pool water as directed.

Instructs or assists classes in fundamentals of swimming as needed.

Required Skills/Abilities

Knowledge and ability to evaluate water conditions at the pool to determine any potential dangers or hazards.

Ability to adjust programs as necessary to ensure the safety of the visitors and other staff.

Swimming proficiency and comfort in all types of water conditions.

Ability to judge and evaluate evolving dynamics of individuals participating in aquatic activities to immediately assess their capabilities and threats to their safety.

Knowledge of on-site protocols, operational procedures, and safety policies.

Knowledge of methods and techniques for providing on-site emergency medical services.

Education and Experience

Minimum of 6 months of related work experience.

Certified Lifeguard Training Certificate.

CPR for the Professional Rescuer.

Standard First Aid Certificate.

Physical Demands

Must be a strong swimmer.

Work may involve moderate exposure to outdoor elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.

Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.

Must be a strong swimmer with ability to:
(1) swim 300 yards in seven minutes
(2) remove ten-pound weight from 9-foot depth and demonstrate mature and responsible demeanor.
